Problems w/ pic borders and hyperlinks?

Johny

I have added a border around the pictures on our site. These pictures are
used to direct visitors to other content so they are active hyperlinks.
Trying to use a "custom theme" to easily choose the background and hyperlink
colors. No matter what color I choose for the hyperlinks they always
default to blue and purple in the pic border. The other hyperlinks react to
my color choice, but not the pic borders. I have applied the theme to the
page itself and directly to the embed components with no difference.

If I choose the hyperlink color from the "page property" menu the react as
directed, but this would be a tedious process. The owner has change the
color scheme at least 5 times so far and were not even online yet. I have
suggested eliminating the pic borders; the answer is, "No!".

So how do I get a pic border to use the color scheme in a theme I define for
hyperlinks?

Am using FrontPage 2003. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Having the hyperlink show on a graphic is not something that professional
sites do nowadays your best advised not to do that.

without looking at your site you might have set the html on the page for the
links maybe via page properties they will be in your body tag. I'm not sure
how themes work with this, if your using css with the theme then look in the
sheet.

i just posted about this, as i am having the same trouble. I think it is a
glitch in frontpage2003 rather than something left out because it's an out of
date practice. If you make a page with no theme and change the hyperlink
colors under page properties, it will apply to all hyperlinks (both the text
hyperlinks and the pic border hyperlinks). However, if you set the hyperlink
colors in a theme, it only applies to the text links, and not the pic border
links. Some programmer obviously left out a few lines of code.

i don't know HTML very well, so i'm not sure how to add the correct lines to
the themes to fix this bug.
