Problems with 11.4.0 updates

I have tried several times to update Office 2004 with the 11.4.0 updates. Each time, I get as far as a screen that tells me that the program is "searching for programs to update." The rainbow disk spins forever, and I finally when I go to force quit the update, I am told it is not responsive. For what it is worth, I have upgraded to Leopard and use Firefox.

I would appreciate any thoughts!

Many users are reporting problems with the 11.4 update. I advise waiting.
It's just a security fix.

To address your problem, it's unclear what causes this. You might need to
use "Remove Office" and re-install then update.
