Problems with Activesync

I just buy a new computer. I have got a PDA Dell Axim and it was working
well with my old laptop. I used Outlook and activesync 3.8 to synchronice my
PDA. I install today the activesync in meem and ny new computer and before I
do anything a pop-up window come up telling me "Active Sync Conection manager
has encountered a problem and needs to close" I report the problem to
Microsoft, passed a scandisk, reinstall the soft 3 times and still getting
that error, therefore I can't transfer the information to my laptop...any
ideas??? Mi computer is a Celeron 2.6
with 400Mhz bus speed.
256 mb ram
40 Gb HDD
Bass Enhanced Sound System, 32-bit AC'97
Intel extreme graphics chipset with 64mb Video RAM
Windows XP Home edition-SP2

Hi,

I had the same problem with my XDA2i, i was instructed to uninstall ver 3.8
and install ver 3.7, this worked for me.

For what its worth, the latest version of ActiveSync is 4.1 and is available
as a free download from the Microsoft website.

Thanks I sorted the problem out.I made a soft reset of my Dell and VOILA. It
works...
