Dear All
I have Outlook 2007 and XP 64, and for security reasons the main account I
use for day to day work is a power user account to prevent security breaches
and so on.
I use as my main email a hotmail account and to make the bridge between
outlook and a web server account I have installed Outlook connector.
However I'm facing difficulties after the update of the newer version
revamped for Office 2010.
After several unsuccessful installations of the newer version due to the non
administrative privileges of my XP account (the new Outlook connector
auto-updates), Outlook has disabled this add in accusing him of being a non
responding add-in and have disable it.
I made a repair of Office 2007 (deleted the Outlook profile and made a new
one), and finally the Outlook allowed to run the Outlook connector but now it
fails to add a Hotmail account, does anyone here knows how to fix this?
Is this related to the fact that I’m using Windows XP 64, btw the
Administrative Account of XP works fine and this is quite weird.
Thanks
