problems with "Company" field in custom view of calender

I have the "company" field and "job title" field in the custom view I have created. The appointment has the appropriate contact chosen from my contacts list. The problem is that even though both the company and job title field are filled out in the person's contact information, those fields on the custom view of my outlook calender are not showing any information. Can someone tell me why??
