Problems with custom microsoft forms.

We have custom forms created and saved out in our public folders. Whenever
we try to create a new task using that form we get an error message when
using certain tabs inside of the form. The error message is " Could not load
an object because it is not available on this machine". On the form under
the tabs we have pull down options. None of these pull down options work on
the form. This error only seems to occur after the SP2 was installed for
office because other clients are still only running SP1 and they are able to
use the forms. All the users are Office 2003, Win XP and we are using
Exchange 2003. I have researched the internet and have tried multiply things
and nothing has worked.

Look at your code and find out what software you are trying to connect to, then
allow a connection from that source in the SP2 firewall.

By default all of the SP2 firewalls are disabled on all of the computers
including the ones having issues wit h the forms.

All the users are Office 2003, Win XP and we are using

allow a connection from that source in the SP2 firewall.

Sounds like these forms might be one-offing and contain ActiveX controls other than the ones in the original control toolbox.

Which SP2 are you referring to -- Windows XP or Office 2003?
