Problems with EXCHANGE e-mail account under Enourage Office 2004

I use my exchange e-mail account under Entourage Office Mac X with no
problem.
But with Office Mac 2004 I try to setup the same e-mail account with exactly
the same settings and it does not work.

NEED HELP with setup an exchange e-mail under Entourage Office 2004.

ANY IDEAS?

Entourage 2004 uses WebDAV to connect instead of IMAP/SMTP. You server may
well have different settings.

WebDAV needs to be enabled on the server (if Outlook Web Access is working,
WebDAV is enabled), and youneed to use the server setting associated with
OWA.

THere is a big difference between the way 10.1.4 handled exchange and the way
2004 does.
10.1.4 used IMAP whereas 2004 uses the OWA server to get the e-mails.
You need to specify the address of your OWA (webmail) server as the exchange
server. It might be a different address than the previous one. If your server
doesn't have OWA enabled at all, you can still get your mail through IMAP on
the same server as previously.
