problems with Font

in my word documents, no matter what I do I can't seem to get the font size to change..I've no idea why. I am going blind here with the tiny script.

I do what I always did on my PC. Select the entire document, go to font OR format, then fonts (I've done both), then picked a font and type size. Nada. What am I doing wrong????

thanks so much for helping.

I wonder if the command you are looking for is "Zoom"?

On the Standard toolbar, change the Zoom to 150 per cent, and see if that
helps.

Click in one paragraph and look on the toolbar: what Font Size is shown?
The default is Cambria 12, which is quite large. However, if you have a
really large screen, it may be too small for comfortable use.

Cheers
