Problems with Form Location

I have created forms and published them to a shared folder but could not open
the forms created on one PC on another in the Domain. I have republished the
template with Full Trust Security Level but need to be open the original
created forms on both PC & laptop. I can only open the forms on my desktop
but if I try to access design mode on those forms it tells me it cannot find
the template. I am running InfoPath with SP1 but installed SP1 after
creation of the forms I want to open.

I think I may need to edit the path using the SDK tool but am not familiar
with this. Can anyone help? Many thanks

I've tried that - I can install the template to my laptop but the previously
created form references the original location and will not open. (The
original location contains the Documents & Settings path and therefore cannot
be recreated as it includes the computer name)

I can't work out how to edit the file - I assume you mean select the "open in
design view" option but when I try that it produces the same message, i.e.
that the template path cannot be found.

Edit the .xml form file and up in the first few lines you'll see the path to the original form template location. Change that path to point to your new location and then save the .xml file. You should be set to go!

Try installing the form to the same physical path on both machines (i.e. C:\InfoPathForms\MyForm.xsn)

Thanks Greg - I had to create a new form and then use cut & paste for the
location but that has now worked. Thanks for your help!

Christine
