Hi Sally,
Bob's advice should work in all version of Word.
Make sure your letterhead is placed in the "Different First Page"
header/footer and the Header/Footer is empty. You do not need to save
the document with a second blank page in order for this to work
correctly.
You will need to use the Next/Previous commands on the Header/Footer
toolbar to navigate between the Headers/Footers.
Also if your Header/Footer reflects multiple sections then that may
need to be handled differently. Let us know if this is the case and
we'll provide instructions for that scenario.

Obviously, the first thing we tried was MS Word Help - which was no
help! And, File, Page, Setup, Layout, etc. does not work. I did
exactly what you suggested, saved the letterhead with the blank second
page, but when I tried to type a "real" letter of more than two pages,
the header carried over to the second page, and the blank page I
created following your directions, was pushed to the end. Next?

You might want to also keep MS Word Help in mind for future problems
with feature usage.
in a header/footer format. However, the header continues on to second
page and no one in this office can figure out how to stop the header
at the first page. This is a law office and we are ALL ex-WordPerfect
users and do not have time to fumble around with this problem every
day!! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
