I¹m running Mac OS X 10.3.8, Palm OS v4.2.1, on a Palm m515, and
Entourage 2004 (v11.1.0). Ever since I upgraded to 10.3.8, when ever I
attempt to HotSync with my PDA, it appears to connect but then crashes the
OS X 10.3.8 causing it to lose connection not to mention making me
hard-restart my machine. I have loaded the proper conduit from the
Entourage 2004 CD, and I have removed all other conduits and still no joy.
Though not entirely consistent, it appears to lock up when trying to
determine the identity. I¹m at the end of my capacity to troubleshoot this
and tired of restarting my computer for the 100th time. I¹ve even tried to
uninstall the Palm desktop and start from scratch but haven¹t even been
successful there since I¹m sure the Palm software is leaving some data on
the HDD and I¹m not sure how to clean it all off. Any help would be
appreciated as I¹m about ready to jettison the m515 or Entourage 2004 so
that I can use iSync which appears to work. Thanks.
