problems with hyperlinks when published

I created several hyperlinks using front page 2002. The hyperlinks work in
normal mode and when I do publish to browser but when I do publish web and go
to the website, they don't work. Nothing happens when I click on the link.
I noticed that when I hover over the hyperlink on the website, it shows the
path from my local machine and not the path of the website.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks
Gina

If they're images you're not importing them into your fp website first, or
you've not created a website to begin with. You should be opening your
website File | Open Site first, before you edit anything.

They are links from one page to another page. I opened my website from my
local machine, made my changes and then published to the live site.

Locally, how are you opening your web / site?
Are all of the pages you are linking to within the current open FP web / site

I'm going to File | Open Web and selecting the website on my local hard drive
under my webs where I created it. When I open it, all of the pages are there
and I can ctrl click to get to each page. If I do preview in browser, all the
links work.

When I publish the website and select my ip address, it shows everything
transferring. When I open the website and hover over the links, it is
pointing to my local my webs website folder and not the live website.

If I go to my network places and expand the live website name there
everything is there also.

Ok, open your live/remote web / site directly in FP and then run a Tools | Recalculate Hyperlink
command.
