Problems with Import Spreadsheet Wizard

Hello All,

Every time I go to import data, the Import Wizard doesn't appear to be
functioning correctly. When I get to the "You can specify info about
each of the fields..." step, the Field Options section shows info
about the first field. But when I click on other fields to change
them, the info shown in the Field Options section doesn't update to
reflect the current field. This isn't a huge problem. The data will
still import. But if I want to make changes, I have to go into the
table afterward and make them there.

Has anyone seen this before? Do you know how to fix it?

What version of Access, and have you installed all of the service packs?

Doug,

Sorry about that. I didn't think about putting my version info in
there.

MS Access 2002 (10.6501.6626) SP3

When I did my last Office update, there was updates to install. But
there was either one that could only be installed by itself (don't
remember if it was a service pack or not) or all the others couldn't
be installed until this one was. After that one was installed, there
are 7 still waiting to be installed. But every time I try to install
any/all of them, I get error messages and the installs fails.

This is a known issue for ACCESS 2002 SP3. This issue is described in

There is a Hotfix available from Microsoft Technical Support for this
problem. Description of the Access 2002 post-Service Pack 3 hotfix package:
