Hi
We are going to build a large InfoPath form with around 20 views. These 20
views must have the same overall look and feel. Now i have run into a lot of
limitations with these templates. Am I missing something or is none of these
things possible.
1) Attach manged code to a template (This is OK)
2) Access views in a master from a Template. This prohebits me from using a
template as a "global" menu control. If I can't do this, I have to
copy/paste my menu to all 20 views.
3) The REAL pain. I thought i could use the template to build a
master-like-page. Here i could add Header, a placeholder (section) for the
menu and a placeholder (section) for my contents. This actually works
great...until I update the template. If I do that, ALL my "custimized"
contents in the sections (placeholders) is erased and i have to rebuild all
my 20 pages.
I can live with 1 and 2. But if any one has a solution the number 3 it would
be very much appriciated!
Regards
