Problems with installation of speech recognition.

I attempted to install speech recognition for Word '03 and the installation
initiated but after a few seconds it discontinued. No further tutorial
appeared on the screen and speech recognition does not work. When I select it
it does not intiate, and also the Language section is unaltered, so I suspect
that the speech recog. didn't install correctly. What now? How do I uninstall
and re-install it to try again?
