Problems with loading files!

when I try to retrieve a word 2002 file the computer says it has found a
problem and that i have to start it in safemode to locate the problem, but i
do not know how to locate the problem after i have restartet word in
safemode?

The errorsignature says:

AppName: winword.exe AppVer: 10.0.4030.0 ModName: mcscan32.dll
ModVer: 4.1.6.0 Offset: 00029f77

But i do not know what it means!

The file mcscan32.dll is part of McAfee AntiVirus, so uninstalling and
reinstalling McAfee might help. See
