I have been trying to debug intermittant problems with sending e-mail using
Outlook 2003 on a POP connection. Basically Outlook "hangs" on receiving but
not consistently. I Enabled Logging to see what is happening in the POP
server exchange. However, in reviewing the contents of the OPMLOG.log file,
all reporting seems to simply stop prior to or in synch with when
connectivity problems arise. Logging ony resumes upon restarting Outlook or,
in more serious situations, re-booting the XP Pro system. In other words,
the log doesn't tell me anything :-(. Any idea what would cause logging to
"stop"?
