Problems With Messengers And Outlook Express

Hey there,

I am having quite a serious problem at the moment, I cannot seem to
open up these programs.

WINDOWS messenger (can open MSN messenger perfectly)
YAHOO messenger (will not open, shuts down and asks if i want to send
or not send etc)

Every time i attempt to open any of these, they just shutdown and ask
me if I want to send the error report.

Then when I try to open up Outlook Express, a window pops up saying
that windows messenger has shutdown and would i like to send an error
report.

It is very annoying that I cannot talk on Yahoo as it does not feel
like home talking to my friends on MSN, yahoo is so much better, and I
cannot use it, even after I format my HD!

Any help would be greatly appreciated

(And by the way, a complete format does not change the situation)

Ask in an Outlook Express, or better yet, a Windows newsgroup.
