Hi all,
I got tired of adding emails to the junk sender list so I made two rules
that work pretty good with a couple of exceptions. The rules are (in order):
1.- Apply the rule after the message arrives. From [list of allowed emails]
move it to the inbox folder.
2.- Apply the rule after the message arrives.Move it to the junk email
folder and mark it as read.
Some info first: I tried to use a distribution list but outlook complained
that I could not use it and if I wanted to add the individual users instead.
So I said yes, that's what the "[list of allowed emails]" means. This all
run on my own PC and there is no server ... except for the Verizon one (home
DSL account). I created the folder named "junk email".
The first issue is that copies of what goes to the inbox end up in the junk
email folder. The second is that everything in the inbox and junk email
folders is marked as read.
Question: How can I prevent the two issues above ?
