Problems with Office 2004

All of a sudden I am having problems loading Office 2004
applications. When I try to load them it says "The Application (Word,
Entourage, Excel, Power Point) quit unexpectedly." I am given the
option of "close", "report" or "reopen". I have found I have to
choose "reopen" at which time the I get the message "the application
Excel quit unexpectedly after it was reopened". I can then "close"
"Try Again" or "Report". If I say Try Again it finally opens.

I have reported it and even deleted the programs and reinstalled
them. It still happens. Any suggestions?

It sounds like the preferences files used by Office may be corrupted. Go to
/Users/<Your User>/Library/Preferences/. Move the com.microsoft.* files out
of the folder, as well as the "Microsoft" subfolder. Then, you may be able
to launch the applications. If so, you can delete those files/folders.

I have the same problem only after "try again" it still dosen't work. I did
the steps you said to do but i still can't get it to open. Do you have any
others ideas of how to get it to work?
