Problems with Outlook 2003 on Vista

New computer came with Vista. Installed Office 2003 SP2. Word, Excel,
PwrPnt all worked fine, but Outlook keeps popping up "Windows Installer.
Preparing to install ... Please wait while Windows configures MS Office
Professional 2003 ... Getting information ..." FOR EACH AND EVERY IN-COMING
and OUT-GOING EMAIL," and hangs after 3 or 4 emails are downloaded. Any
ideas what's going on and how to fix?

Run Detect and Repair from the Help Menu. You will probably need your install
media to complete this task.

If that does or doesn't help, please post back.
