Problems with Outlook update Installation KB921580

I can not get the update for Outlook 2003 Junk Email Filter (KB921580)
installed. The automatic update window keeps poping up and I get always the
same error message that the updates were unable to be successful installed. I
tried to install the full version manually with the same result. I saw
however that the genuine checker does not recognize an Office 2003
installation as genuine and asks to activate the program. This is not
possible since I only own Office XP, which was successfully activated. I
bought Outlook 2003 separate (I own the CD). Could this issue be related?
What do I have to do to get this nuisance ended? Any help is appreciated.
