I've had 2 scenarios with using Outlook from home where it has failed:
o 56k dialup connection running an IPsec tunnel to my work network
o ADSL connection running an IPsec tunnel that is using NAT traversal
For both scenarios, I get the password dialog pop up, there is a
considerable amount of data transferred from the exchange server (the
disk is going crazy) and then the connection stops - I see a
"communicating with server" dialog and this just hangs and stays that
way ...... forever.
I fixed the dialup connection my messing with TCP settings (MTU, MSS
etc using software from Sustainable Softworks), but have been unable
to get the 2nd scenario going.
Anyone else seen this behaviour and have a fix???
Cheers
