Problems with Photo Editor

Laser

I recently installed a new hard drive and did a fresh install if Windows
XP-pro Sp2 and Office 2003. However, I noted that Microsoft Photo Editor was
no longer available so I put my old Office 97 CD in and installed Photo
Editor.

Now, when I click on a stored picture (.jpg .bmp, etc) the picture displays
alright on my monitor but I can't print. If I go to << File/Print >> Photo
Editor crashes and then closes the program.

Can anybody help me?

Do you get an error message? If so, what's the exact text?

Hi Echo

Thanks for the quick response

The only error message I get says...

"Microsoft Photo Editor has encountered a problem and needs to close.
We are sorry for the inconvenience."

And it asks me if I want to send an error report to Microsoft.

Thanks again for any assistance.

No, not much additional info that I can see. If I click the link where it
says "to see what data the report contains" it just list the file name and
version... Photo Editor Ver 3.0

The links below don't appear applicable because I'm not getting the error
message that they pertain to.

Thanks

Hm.

Sometimes there's a "more info" link on those send things. Any clues
there?
