Problems with print preview and text boxs

Ciara

I am experiencing the strangest problems with Word 2000,
if I create a document with test boxes in it and then go
to print preview the text boxes are no invisible. What is
even stranger is that when I close down print preview and
return to the original document they have completely
disappeared. Can anyone please make any suggestions? I
have tried reinstalling Word and Windows 2000 but the
problem still exists.

Try the following:

Select Tools > Options to display the Options dialog box. On the
Print tab, make sure that "Draft output" is deselected, and that
"Drawing objects" is selected. On the View tab, make sure that
"Picture placeholders" is deselected. Does this help?

On the Print tab of Tools | Options, make sure you have "Drawing objects"
checked.
