Dear Sir/Madam,
I have recently been experiencing difficulties with printing documents from
Microsoft Word (2002).
Often (though not always), it develops some sort of issue with printing
anything, such that trying to do so results in a message stating that the
program "has encountered a problem" and will be shut down (and offering to
send an error report to Microsoft, re-open word and recover the previous
document).
This will randomly persist until I, through a random process of trying to
print either from the shortcut bar or through the file menu, succeed in
getting it to send the document to the printer without the program failing.
For reference, it (sometimes) helps to send a blank document to the printer
first.
The program is fully updated and if I do send an error report to Microsoft
the advice is invariably to go out and buy a newer version of Office. Can
anyone help?
Thanking you in advance,
