Problems with project server

Hello Everyone,

We are having multiple issues with our implementation of project server. I
unfortunately was tasked with trying to resolve it, and I have little
in-depth knowledge of the product.

Our implementation is distributed between 2 servers. A SQL cluster and a
application server that houses both share point and project server.

We cannot seem to fully publish a project using Project 2003. When we try
to publish a project that has enterprise resources added to it, the project
spooler returns an error stating "System Error 0x80004005" The project does
show up in the web interface, however, we cannot view anything within the
project.

Also the application log on the project server is flooded with entries like
the one below

"Event Type: Error
Event Source: Microsoft Project Server Tracing Eventlog Provider
Event Category: None
Event ID: 2
Date: 11/1/2005

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Andy: Check this link. There are special permissions needed for one folder
in partucular. I had the same error as you, and followed the steps in this
link to solve the problem.

Thank you for the replay. I already looked into that, and the permissions
are set properly.

Found the problem.

SP1 didn't install properly on the SQL database. Issue has been resolved.

thanks to everyone who responded.

Andy,
I'm having related problems.
How did you detect that SP1 hadn't been installed properly?
Was the resolution just to reinstall SP1?
