Problems with RBS

We have made some changes to the RBS structure in the Resource Pool of our
MSP Server. This morning we noted that the RBS of certain resources is
blank when viewed from the MSP Web Access Resource Center. However, when I
check the RBS by pressing on the "Edit" botton the resource has the new RBS
assigned correctly.

Can you help identify what is causing this situation?

Have you removed the old previous entry that a resource would have been
allocated.

Eg if you had PMO.Projects.ProjectTeamMembers and reorganised that to
PMO.ProjectTeamMembers then that would do it.

I did performed that action. However, they are now assigned to the correct
RBS. What is the solution?

Just so I understand your issue correctly:- after you changed the RBS, you
edited each resource in either PWA or the Enterprise Resource Pool and set
the correct new RBS code. Now, when you view the resource via PWA the field
is blank. Clicking Edit in PWA "refreshes" the field with the new code
assigned in the 1st instance. Is this a correct description of what you did?

Partially Correct.

When I press the Edit botton in the PWA the information is already in the
RBS field (since I previously had assigned the new RBS). However, it is not
in the Resource Center view even after I click on the "Save and Close" botton
from within the Editing window.

Hi,

We have also experienced this issue. I think this is somethign to do with
the scheduled update that takes places between the MSP and PWA tables. We
re-started our project server and this seemed to solve the problem.

Hope this helps for you :)
Kind Regards
Sam
