Hi all,
I have a problems with the 2007 version from time to time.
I mean that in most cases it works fine, but about 10% of sending operations
fail. I noticed that in most cases this happens when I do not puush to
send/receive (do not press F9) and Outlook is trying to send emails on
scheduled Send/Receive task.
Symptoms: Email Sending task as well as Receiving just stops, and after some
period just closes w/o errors and do nothing... Nothing means that no
Sending/Receving are completed from that time for this account (account is
POP3, internal for our company).
Moreover, when I try next time to Send/Receive (button or F9) it just skips
Sending/Receiving tasks for this account. Actually, not just skis them, but
immediately marks them as completed. But no new emails are receiving and
outbox is is not processing...
Anyway, I can delete mesages from the outbox (I mostly use Shift+Del), and
in most cases this fixes the problem for next message (and Receive starts
working).
Restart of Outlook aslso helps.
So, question - any ideas? Is there any (hidden?) settings for the account
that can fix this (remote internet accounts are working fine, this problem
occurs only for a local mail server (lan) account)?
Thanks,
Ivan
