I am using Outlook 2003. I sometimes run into problems setting a recurring
appointment with out seeing any rhyme or reason as to why it happens.
For example, I will want to set an all day event recurring appointment every
week day for one week (say showing that a conference is taking place each day
of the week).
I will check the recurrence pattern as daily, every weekday, "Start" will be
the Monday date of the week and "End by" will be the Friday date of the week.
After doing this, I will sometimes get a message: "The duration of the
appointment must be shorter than how frequently is occurs. Shorten the
duration or change the recurrence pattern in the Appointment Recurrence
dialog box." When I review the settings I've selected everything seems
correct.
Can anyone offer suggestions as to what I'm not doing correctly? Thanks in
advance.
