problems with sp3 for office 2003

Since installing sp3 for office 2003 i cannot open any attachments in
outlook. I opened all of these attachments yesterday, updated today and now
cannot open any of them. Are there any suggestions as to how to fix this
issue without uninstalling office. Any help is appreciated.
