Problems with spell check

During message writing in Outlook Express, the spell
checker will come on and keep coming on. It states that
the spell check is complete, yet does not allow me to
continue. The only way to escape it is to Ctrl-Alt
Delete. How do I shut this off????? The options
adjustments dont seem effective.

Help!
