Problems with symbols inserted in a template

S

A typist opens a custom template in Word (XP I believe) which contains the
symbol Wingdings char code 111, an empty square box, next to the word YES
and another box next to the word NO. If she highlights the box next to the
word NO and replaces the box with the letter X, it appears nothing is
changed regarding the box next to the word YES. But when the document is
printed the box next to YES becomes Wingdings char code 133, a circle with
the number 5 inside. The X next to NO prints normally. This gets more
bizarre and appears to be a user profile issue since when another user logs
on to this computer with their own username and password, the document
prints normally. They claim this problem just began recently.

Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.
