Problems with Tables

InfinityIke

Hi everyone,

I am currently building a website for my company/hobby and it is making use
of tables, however I am having trouble with the tables not converting
properly to html basically causeing a paragraphs to run on in one line cause
alot of side scrolling.

1 out of ten of these tables are correct, the frustrating thing is they were
all built the same way and imported from the same document.

any help would be appreciated.

Which version of Publisher are you using?
From what kind of document are you importing the tables, and how are you
importing them?
If you are copy and pasting the tables, have you tried using Paste Special
and choosing an alternative to the default?
Have you tried pasting the content from your tables to tables that you build
with Publisher?
Have you uploaded any pages where we can see what you are talking about, and
would you post a link to one of those pages?

Sorry, more questions than answers at this point.

Which version of Publisher are you using? Microsoft Puplisher 2007
From what kind of document are you importing the tables, and how are you
importing them? I was importing the tables from Microsoft Word 2007
If you are copy and pasting the tables, have you tried using Paste Special
and choosing an alternative to the default? Yes and it messes up the format
Have you tried pasting the content from your tables to tables that you build
with Publisher? I did that first and ran into the same problem
Have you uploaded any pages where we can see what you are talking about, and
would you post a link to one of those pages? Yes, but I have fixedthe issue
now by building the tables in Komposer, editing them in Word, and then
pasting them in publisher.

I would love be able to eliminate the middle men.

Thanks David, while I have a solution but not the best solution.

Thanks for the link, but are you saying that all the text, even on your home
page, is contained in a table? If not, which page are you using the table?

I gotta run, but will be back later today...
