Problems with the 'table of contents' tool

M

Marina P.

1) I was just introduced on TOC, try to use it for my dissertation and find
out that together with the headings long chunks of text I never highlighted
as heading appear in the table of contents. Any ideas how to avoid this?

2) Is it better to use it in the end for the whole thesis or can I use it as
I work the different chapters and put them all together in the end.

3) Do you recommend any good online tutorial?

Thanks in advance,

Sounds like you are using Microsoft Word to me.
