hi, i am running office 2003 under windows XP and have never had any problems
untill now, every time i open word i get 3 warning messages about macros, i
have looked into chainging the security settings and am toled that i didnt
install support for macros (eventhough i have used macros for months with no
changes to the system), if i try to check the spelling i get a message
telling me that word cannot find the proofing tools for UK (as you can tell i
need the spell checker), every time i close word i am toled that changes have
been made to normal.doc and get prompted to save them.
I have tried to repare office using theinbuilt tool but this tells me that
"this action is only valid for products that are currently installed."
I have tried to uninstall office to re-install it but i cannot find an
uninstaller and it is not in ad-remove programs. i downloaded microsoft
office resorce kit with a removal wizard and doesnot detect any office
products installed.
in essance, i have the bare bones of the programs and can just about use
them however the spelling checkers and vital to me and so it is verry
difficault to use the program.
