Problems with using Distribution Lists within Contacts in Public Folder?

Hi
Using Exchange Server 2003 SP1.
We have a shared Contact folder in Public Folders.
A user using Outlook 2000 SR1 creates a distribution list within the
Contacts folder and populates it. The email details shows correctly
initially.
Another user using Outlook 2003 views the same details. Displays correctly.
When a user uses Outlook 2000 the next time, the email details view is
corrupted. Just shows a single character in each of the 3 fields in the
email address view.
Mail gets delivered correctly when the DL is used.

Its only the views in Outlook 2000 that is corrupted.

Has anybody else seen this.? IS there a soulution to it.?
