problems with website publishing

i'm having problems publishing a new site i've made on publisher 2003. i've
made two other sites and, once i figured out how to do it, i was able to
publish and update no problem. it may be coincidence but since recently
downloading updates from microsoft, i now can't make updates or add the new
site i've made. i taught myself using publisher and help i've found online,
so i'm not exactly in the know with all of the "proper" terminology or
procedures. i really need some guidance in a hurry!

Kris,

It sounds like you probably have been using FTP uploading and have
*upgraded* to IE7. FTP uploading has changed with the introduction of IE7.

You could uninstall IE7 through add and remove, and thus roll back to IE6,
which would probably fix your problem if you are trying to FTP upload. Or...

It is written for Pub 2007, but if you are using IE7 instead of IE6, then
the directions for using Vista would apply. Or...

Keep IE7 and consider downloading and installing the free FTP client
FileZilla:
http://filezilla-project.org/ It is likely to be easier for you in the long
run. Take the time to also download the excellent documentation and read it.
