Now that I've burned up over 3 hours searching for a solution to a problem
that was not my creating, I would really appreciate it if MS either 1) made
its Windows updates compatible with its software (and common peripherals like
those from HP) or 2) found a way to send out notification to its users about
potential problems before they were encountered.
You guys are the experts and we, as layman of the computer age, are at your
mercy. What may seem obvious to you, is not to us. I'll now go and attempt
the prescribed fix, but please know that even this seems complicated to
someone who is not literate in navigating how the operating system and
software work together.
Please, please, please make this an easier process in the future! The hours
of productivity I and others have lost in the past few days I am sure is
staggering. And I bet more than a few PAID someone or called the $35 help
line to get resolution.
Regards,
Colleen B
