Problems with Word XP please help?

Ive got XP Home and Office XP and for some reason every office program gives
the message "The operating system is not presently configured to run this
application" it should work ive tried to reinstall office but it still
doesnt work.

Within an Office app, click Help > Detect and Repair. Have your CDs
handy.

I'd also suggest you run a check disk on your system. Right click your
C drive from Windows Explorer, click Properties and choose Tools.
There you'll find the Error Checking tool. Run it.
