Probs installing SR 2

Started by trying to install Office/Binder on disk 2.
Understood delete SP 1 - did so ... long story short,
have had to restore to get back almost where I started w/
Office. I have Office 2000 SR 1 Premium and SR 1 Disk 2
installed. Tried to install Office 2000 SR 2 from disk
and after copying to a file on HDD, file does not install
from sp2upd.exe, instead returns "Update cannot be
installed."

Would like to know:

1. how to proceed to install SP 2 and SP 3 for Office
2000.

2. After that I wish to install Binder from disk 2. Can
I just go to add remove/programs and click on add new
programs from floppy or CD and proceed to install Binder
direct from disk 2?
