Processes jump when grouped

I'm creating a Cross Functional Flowchart in Visio 2003.

I have several process objects in each functional band that were copied from
another (Basic) flowchart.

I get odd behavior in two areas:

1. When I group the objects with a functional band, the process objects will
jump to the bottom of the page.

2. When I resize a functional band some of the process objects in other
functional areas don't move with their functional area.

These seem related. As if, the processes are not associated with the
functional area they were copied to.
