Producer content "Loading" forever

For some reason content created in Producer (2002 or 2003)
claims to be "loading" forever in Internet Explorer 6.0 or
later. This does not happen with IE 5.

If you press Stop (after it's finished loading according
to the status bar), the loading animation turns to Play
correctly and you can start the presentation.

Does anyone know of a fix for this?
