Producer Freezing Mid-Way through Publishing

I use producer to sync video with PowerPoint slides. I've been using it for awhile and completed a bunch of projects with it
I upgraded to Office 2003 and got the new Producer to go with it. I sequenced my slides and video, and when I went to publish, it would get 1/3 of the way through and freeze. Actually, it wouldn't freeze, but the Time Remaining would increase exponentially and the progress bar would not move
So, I used my previous copy of Office XP 2002 and Producer 1.1, which was what I used to use all the time, and re-sync'ed the presentation from scratch. When I went to publish, the same thing happened
The presentation consists of three WMV files and 10 PPT presentations which nothing special added. The approx total duration for the project is 5 hours. Please help
