Product code for MS Office XP

I am hoping someone can help me. I recently had to
reconfigue my hard drive on my Sony Vaio. So I gotta now
reinstall my office xp. I did that and everytime I try to
use it it insists that I have given it an invalid product
code. I know the code is correct. What do I do now?

I have the original disk and the original code and am
certainly not about to fork out money for new software.

Help.
