Product ID

I recently bought Microsoft Office: Student and Teacher Edition 2003.
Shortly thereafter, I had to reconfigure my hard drive. Now, obviously,
Office is asking me for the Product ID number once again. The problem is
that I have no idea what I did with it. There is no sticker on the back of
my cd case, so my guess is that I got a certificate of authentification. If
this is the case, I have lost it. So, my question is this: How can I go
about getting my Product ID number now without having to pay for the product
all over again? Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Go here: http://www.lavalys.co.uk/ and download and install the Everest Home
Edition - that will tell you all your product keys and serial numbers.

Unfortunately if I read the OP correctly, he had to wipe his HD. You
can't read what isn't there. I'd try calling MS.

Ah. I missed the "reconfigure" - normally people say "reformat"!

No, most idiots round here say 'reboot' and then you have to spend five
minutes figuring out exactly what they really meant!
