Product key code

Could someone help me? My MS Office 2003 software is being not recognized as
original, I don't know why, I have the original CD which I bought last year
but since I installed it in my new computer I can not update it or receive
support. When I insert the product key code the system responds that it is
not valid. What could I do? Thanks

Thanks for your answer JoAnn Paules. Unfortunately I tried many times and
double checked the code, but I still have the problem, I have a cut of the
label with the code and also a bar code behind, the CD also has a bar code
and some security holograms, I don't know if it can be useful to confirm the
key code. It is impossible to think that I am using a wrong key code, even if
I have other microsoft original programs and/or older original versions,
because I always keep carefully the label with the code. I knew that licenses
allows just one installation (I mean in one computer), that is why I
uninstalled the software from my old computer, but I don't know if the
problem could be because I registered the product when using my old computer.
(I really don't know how it works). This can not be happening to me. I have a
original cd and label with a product key code which I personaly bought last
year and it is being identified as pirate!!!. Should be another way to
validate the authenticity of the product. Thanks

Look at the product key under good lighting. Be aware that Bs and 8s look a
lot alike as do other letters/numbers.

Yes, you have to phone activate because the servers think it's still
installed on the old computer.
