Product key for microsoft 2007

I have entered the 25 digit product key that is on the bottom of the computer
on on official microsoft sticker, but get this error message:
"The Key is incorrect. Verify that you have the correct key and then retype
it."

I have done this and it still gives the same error message.

Any suggestions? Thank you.

The key on the bottom of the computer is for the operating system, not
Office 2007. The key for the "I'm assuming" trial version of Office 2007
that you have on the computer will be somewhere in the documentation you
received with your computer. If you can't find it you need to contact the
help center for your computer manufacturer.


If you paid for the Office software (look at your invoice for the specific
charge and if not there you have a trial version) the activation key will
either be on the documentation you received with the computer or on the
CD/DVD case that the install disk came in.

I tried to enter the product key i got from the box my new office 07 cd came
in and was getting the same error message. I attempted to do this multiple
times and am still getting the The Key is incorrect. Verify that you have
the correct key and then retype it." message HELP!
