Product key to convert Office 2007 Trial version not working

Following a re-install of Vista, I had to reinstall Office Pro 2007 which I
did by downloading a trial version from Microsoft. The Product Key provided
with my Sony Vaio for Office is determined not valid when trying to convert
the trial.

Correct, you'll have to install the OEM version from Sony or purchase a
new kep for the trial version, they are not the same version of Office.
