I've not read any reports of problems with a product key not working. Did
you buy this from a legitimate source? If you didn't purchase it locally,
you will have to call the Microsoft Support Centre to resolve this.

It depends where you are located. There should be a help file on the disk.

When you installed Office 2007 you would have been asked for your product
key. What happened when you entered it at that point?

Whenever you enter it, if it is invalid you should contact whomever you
bought it from (not Microsoft) and they should not charge you anything - if
they have sold you a product which doesn't work they are obliged to sort it
out.

And there is never a charge from Microsoft for setup/installation issues.

Are you sure you are entering the Office product key and not the Windows XP
key? They are different.

Thanks people, for your concern with my problem,

Terry, ill check the help file

Tony, it says that my code is invald simply meaning it doesn't exist and if
the help file doesn't help me i guess i will return it for another

Susan, i don't know what number or whatever to call for help on installation
issue where can i find help free of charge like u said?

Green, IT IS THE PRODUCT KEY! (no doubt)

again, thanks for your concern here.

Call the number for paid support; you will not be charged for an
installation issue. Note, however, that you are not eligible for the support
listed at the URL you gave unless you are part of one of the listed
programs. For "man in the street" support, you can call the consumer number,
but it may not be helpful with the Enterprise edition, which is available
only through volume licensing, which assumes that you have gotten it as part
of a corporate rollout and have an IT department to help.
